Foundation stone laid for Spectrum Instrumentation

The foundation stone for the new Spectrum Instrumentation site was laid in the Beimoor-Süd industrial estate in Ahrensburg. The ceremony was attended by Managing Director and founder Gisela Hassler, Managing Director Carsten Gralla, Technical Director Oliver Rovini and Ahrensburg Mayor Eckart Boege, among others. Together they placed a time capsule in the foundation - a symbolic act for the history and future of the company.

Spectrum Instrumentation has been developing and producing high-precision measurement and test solutions for over 35 years, which are used in industry and research worldwide - including in the CERN particle accelerator and in quantum research. The company supports customers in more than 39 countries via an international sales and service network.

The company was founded in 1989 in Großhansdorf and has grown continuously since then. As a result of this successful development, Spectrum Instrumentation has acquired a plot of around 3,120 square metres in the Beimoor-Süd industrial estate from WAS. The new company headquarters are now being built here, offering space for innovation, co-operation and technological development. The move to Ahrensburg is planned for the end of 2026.

We are delighted to have such an innovative and internationally successful company as Spectrum Instrumentation in Stormarn - a real asset for our business location.
