We recently had the opportunity to get to know another impressive company from Stormarn: Krandienst Schulz GmbH & Co KG in Braak.
The family-run company is one of the leading providers of heavy-duty logistics in northern Germany - with decades of experience, modern technology and a strong team spirit.

From a family business to a heavyweight in the industry

Since its foundation in 1972, Krandienst Schulz has developed from a regional service provider into a specialist for crane work and heavy transport recognised throughout the industry.
With around 80 employees, the company stands for reliability, precision and innovation - values that make it an important partner for construction, industrial and infrastructure projects.

New company site in Braak - modern, efficient, unique

A state-of-the-art company headquarters has been created on a 15,400 m² site, which the company acquired from WAS in 2022. The new site includes workshop and office buildings as well as service facilities for maintenance and MOT inspections - an offer that is virtually unique in northern Germany.

The location in Braak, directly on the A1 motorway, offers ideal logistical conditions and creates space for further growth. During the visit,
Managing Director Günter Sichward and authorised signatory Volker Schubert emphasised the excellent cooperation with the local authorities, who have actively supported the expansion.

Focus on training and securing the future

Krandienst Schulz attaches great importance to training young skilled workers - in the office, in the workshop and on the construction sites. Here, the next generation of heavy-duty logistics professionals is prepared for the future with state-of-the-art technology, in-depth knowledge and plenty of team spirit.

This targeted promotion of young talent not only provides skilled labour within the company, but also strengthens the training landscape in the Stormarn region.
