Climate-friendly everyday life in 42 days!
Stormarn district takes part in the Schleswig-Holstein Klimathon! On 3 March 2025, the Stormarn district will take part in the Schleswig-Holstein Klimathon - a state-wide challenge for more climate protection in everyday life. For six weeks, all citizens can playfully save CO₂ using the free "2zero" app.
How does it work?
Each week has a new motto. There are challenges suitable for everyday use that you can use to collect climate points and reduce your carbon footprint:
- Week 1: Nutrition - enjoy climate-friendly food
- Week 2: Living - save energy and water
- Week 3: Consumption - sustainable shopping
- Week 4: Mobility - travelling in an environmentally friendly way
- Week 5: Leisure - Live & act consciously
- Week 6: Digital life - Using resources smartly

District Administrator Dr Görtz also invites people to take part in the campaign and emphasises the importance of climate protection in our district of Stormarn: "Climate protection is a joint task. The state-wide Klimathon campaign shows how everyone can make a difference with small everyday challenges - simply and effectively!".
