AI you can touch: Successful LUNCH PITCH
Artificial intelligence for companies in Stormarn - a topic of today
Digital and sustainable transformations are no longer dreams of the future - they are happening here and now. At the LUNCH PITCH in Bad Oldesloe, three experts from Lübeck University of Applied Sciences and the University of Lübeck showed how small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can use artificial intelligence (AI) in a practical, secure and efficient way.
How companies can make better use of their data with AI
Prof Dr Niklas Beuter (TH Lübeck) kicked things off. He explained how AI can help to use company data in a structured way, optimise processes and make information from scattered documents accessible using modern semantic search systems.
AI without programming knowledge - simple tools for SMEs
Sven Ole Schmidt, M.Sc. (TH Lübeck / Transfer Manager EDIH.SH), gave an introduction to the world of "no-code AI" and clearly demonstrated how companies can use AI tools effectively even without programming knowledge.
Data protection and transparency: a secure start with AI
Prof Dr André Calero Valdez (University of Lübeck) gave a practical insight into how companies can take their first secure steps with AI. He emphasised what is important when it comes to data protection, transparency and the implementation of the new EU AI Regulation.
Exchange and inspiration at the LUNCH PITCH in Bad Oldesloe
Over a delicious lunch and exciting discussions, it quickly became clear that AI is not a topic for the future - it has long been part of everyday life. The event offered numerous ideas on how companies in the Stormarn district can actively utilise digital opportunities.
Stormarn Innovation Centre: a bridge between business and science
This is how successful networking between science and business works in Stormarn: together with transfer manager Kerstin Rönick and the Hanse Innovation Campus Lübeck (HIC), the WAS Innovation Centre brings companies and research together in a targeted manner - for more innovation, knowledge transfer and practical relevance.
A big thank you goes to our speakers for their inspiring impulses and to all participants for their curiosity and openness in dialogue. After all, digital transformation is best achieved together!
Special thanks to John Garve for the great photos of the day.
