Innovationskontore - 1st Lunch Pitch Science meets Business
"Hungry for knowledge? Snacks for your successful company design" - this was the motto of an inspiring lunch pitch held at Raiffeisen Technik HSL GmbH in Bad Oldesloe on 2 July 2024, which offered small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) valuable insights into digital and sustainable transformations. Participants had the opportunity to gather valuable knowledge and network over lunch and exciting presentations.
The event, which was organised in cooperation with WAS and the Innovation Office of the Hanse Innovation Campus Lübeck, offered presentations from the applied research of the Hanse Innovation Campus Lübeck. The aim was to show SMEs how they can benefit from current developments, utilise them profitably and make their company fit for the future.
Inger Struve, research assistant in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Business at the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences, presented ways to optimise processes in her lecture "Simply simplify processes". She emphasised the importance of efficient processes for a company's success and presented methods of how companies can optimise their processes through process thinking and modelling.
Julia Zoch, company health manager and stress management specialist, spoke about "Shaping digital change with employees". She explained how SMEs can better involve their employees in the introduction of AI tools and what support is available.
Nurije Krasniqi, research associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Business at Lübeck University of Applied Sciences, focussed on the increasing importance of sustainability in her presentation "Shaping a sustainable future". She presented a comprehensive analysis that assesses the sustainability of companies and identifies potential areas for improvement in the clusters of ecology, social issues and corporate governance.
The participants of the Lunch Pitch received practical information and were able to engage in intensive dialogue with the experts afterwards. The event was a complete success and provided SMEs with valuable impetus to face the challenges of digital and sustainable transformation and utilise them to their advantage.
