The HanseBelt is geographically located on the Baltic Sea coast between Hamburg and the smart city of Copenhagen and comprises the districts of Segeberg, Stormarn, Ostholstein, Herzogtum Lauenburg and the city of Lübeck. The proximity to our Scandinavian neighbours has a decisive influence on the identity and actions of this region. Thanks to the upcoming Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link (FFBQ), the regions will grow even closer together in the future. Together we will form an important axis between Hamburg, Stormarn and Copenhagen/Malmö. In addition to the particularly high potential for economic development opportunities, innovative strength and quality of life, the happiest people in terms of family and work live in our "Happy region" according to the happiness atlas. Our association is the driving force behind the development and growth of this region, consisting of around 140 companies. Supported by chambers of industry and commerce and the German-Danish Chamber of Commerce, our network has been promoting business, growth and employment since 2008. Our community goes beyond an ordinary network - we are a driving force for progress and innovation. By working closely with our Scandinavian neighbours, we strive to build on the region's strengths and offer an outstanding quality of life and career opportunities - because we have everything for happiness!
