Successful general meeting of the VdW.SH

This year's general meeting of the Association of Economic Development Agencies in Schleswig-Holstein(VdW.SH) took place here in Bad Oldesloe on 6 June. WAS hosted the event and was delighted to have a successful exchange of ideas with colleagues from all over the state.

During the meeting, the association's board was re-elected for a second term of office. Werner Kässens (KiWi Kiel) will continue as Chairman and our Managing Director Ulf Hahn was re-elected as Deputy Chairman. Dr Matthias Hüppauff (Wirtschaftsförderung Nordfriesland, WFG) remains treasurer.

VdW.SH unites the business development organisations from 11 districts and 4 cities in Schleswig-Holstein. The aim of the association is to actively shape the economic development of the state together. Key topics include the development of commercial sites, the promotion of innovation and the networking of science and business.

Over the past two years, VdW.SH has successfully established itself as a point of contact for state politics and administration. The association intends to continue providing constructive support for economically relevant developments in the state in the future - with a particular focus on future topics such as the electricity hubs in Schleswig-Holstein and technology-driven innovations.

We would like to thank all participants for the committed dialogue and look forward to further cooperation within the network.
