WAS at Future Hamburg Talks
The Fehmarnbelt Tunnel - Northern Europe's largest infrastructure project in focus!
With a length of 18 kilometres, the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel is expected to connect Germany and Denmark under water from 2029 - for both rail and road traffic. This outstanding infrastructure project will not only bring the two countries closer together, but will also reposition Hamburg as the "southernmost metropolis in Scandinavia". For the Stormarn region in particular, the tunnel will open up new economic opportunities and even better connections to international markets.
Our Managing Director, Ulf Hahn, who is also a board member of HanseBelt e.V. and spokesman for the Economic Development Council of the Hamburg Metropolitan Region, will provide exciting insights in the Future Hamburg Talk:
- The creation and significance of the Fehmarnbelt tunnel
- New economic opportunities for the region
- Sustainable logistics and forward-looking infrastructure
Find out more about the exciting prospects that the Fehmarnbelt Tunnel offers for Stormarn and the entire Hansebelt region!
