Company breakfast
in Reinbek
04.12.2023: Nowadays, local transport infrastructure plays a decisive role in attracting skilled labour. Improved public transport connections contribute significantly to the attractiveness of the "last mile". In cooperation with the Reinbek and Glinde business development organisations, we hosted the second business breakfast today.
We were guests at Party Rent GmbH in Senefelder Ring. Managing Director Jan-Willem Roes gave some interesting insights into the company, which was founded in 1992. The service provider is active in the field of room staging and rents out event equipment at 24 locations throughout Europe.
Reinbek's mayor Björn Warmer and Glinde's mayor Rainhard Zug agreed when they talked about the similarities between the two towns in terms of the mobility transition, but also the close cooperation on many other topics.
When it comes to mobility, it is important to identify needs and demonstrate economic viability - a new bus route must be profitable. Are e-scooters, job bikes, HVV-Proficard, car sharing etc. good alternatives to make it easier for employees to get to work in the business park and thus make the decision in favour of public transport easier for them? The potential for future-orientated mobility in the Reinbek and Glinde business parks was the subject of intensive discussions and innovative solutions were filtered out - we'll stay tuned!
Thanks to all participants for the open dialogue - special thanks go to the Party Rent GmbH team, who actively supported us.
The third station of the company breakfast will take us to Bad Oldesloe in February - we are looking forward to it!
