A visit to Reinfeld

On our first stop of our north-south story, we meet the two managing directors Kai and Marc Bode in Reinfeld's industrial estate. Now in its fourth generation, the family-run freight forwarding company is a true all-rounder: from the transport of food, temperature-controlled transport, beverages, paper (rolls and format paper) and packaged goods to warehousing and handling logistics, this company not only combines real manpower with around 320 employees.
What makes Spedition Bode truly special is the way it treats its employees. From trainees to long-serving specialists - every individual counts here. For example, professional lorry driver Dennis acquired his certified master craftsman's certificate for road transport on the side and is now an important part of the in-house workshop. In the near future, he will be able to take over as workshop manager when his colleague goes into well-deserved retirement.
Apprentices are also trained here every year with full motivation and trainees are inspired to take up careers in haulage. The positive outlook with which the two managing directors look to the future is impressive. The best proof of this is the investment at the Reinfeld site. A modern new company headquarters is currently being built there in the industrial estate on the motorway, on a plot of land acquired from WAS (photo below).
