While on the road for our North-South story, we were able to visit the construction site of the Artus Bautrocknungs- und Sanierungsgruppe in Ahrensburg. Together with the Managing Director of the Hamburg branch, Thorsten Cordes, we were able to take an exclusive tour and gather many interesting impressions. The relocation from Barsbüttel to Ahrensburg is planned for July.
Artus was founded in 2012 in Hanover (headquarters) by Josef Bölle and Hendrik Poppinga. The entire Artus Group now has over 50 locations in Germany and more than 1,100 employees across the country. The core tasks of the Artus Group include cleaning after fire or mould infestation, drying & water damage restoration, disinfection as protection against mould and microorganisms, building drying, building heating and heating for events (Leipzig Book Fair, etc.). During the pandemic, however, the company also quickly adapted to the business field of disinfection in hospitals, cruise ships, etc.
With seven managing directors, of whom Mr Cordes is responsible for the "rapid response team a-Team", he and his team provide quick solutions in the event of fire and water damage so that companies do not lose time and money unnecessarily.
