Company visit to ARTUS: relocation to Ahrensburg

As part of our North-South story, we were able to visit the construction site of the ARTUS construction drying and refurbishment group in Ahrensburg. Together with Thorsten Cordes, Managing Director of the Hamburg branch, we gained exciting insights into the new site and the company's work.
The relocation from Barsbüttel to Ahrensburg took place at the end of 2023 - an important step for the further growth of the ARTUS Group.

From the founding location in Hanover to a nationwide network

The ARTUS Bautrocknungs- und Sanierungsgruppe was founded in Hanover in 2012 by Josef Bölle and Hendrik Poppinga. Since then, the company has grown considerably:
Today, the group has over 50 locations throughout Germany and employs more than 1,100 people.
This development has made ARTUS one of the leading restoration companies in Germany - with expertise in building drying, fire restoration and damage management.

Specialised in restoration, drying and disinfection

ARTUS offers a wide range of services:
It ranges from cleaning after fire or mould

• cleaning after fire or mould infestation, drying and water damage restoration through to
• drying and heating of buildings through to disinfection
• disinfection in sensitive areas such as hospitals or cruise ships. During the pandemic in particular, the company has impressively demonstrated how quickly and flexibly it can respond to new challenges.

The "a-Team" for rapid assistance in the event of fire and water damage

With a management team of seven managing directors, ARTUS has a broad base.
Thorsten Cordes heads the "rapid response team" - the a-Team. Together with his team, he ensures fast, professional assistance in the event of fire or water damage so that companies can continue working without long interruptions.

A benefit for the Ahrensburg site and the Stormarn region

The new location in Ahrensburg strengthens ARTUS' presence in the north and brings additional jobs and expertise to Stormarn.
